One of the most important parts of a great artificial grass install is the seaming process. NexGen Lawns’ artificial grass glue used with our 6″ white seam tape will help provide a strong seam for your project. It is simple to use the artificial turf adhesive with no mixing or water needed to activate it. Thus, making it truly easy to use for artificial grass seaming installations.
Most artificial grass glue options that are available are either a 2 part glue mixture or they are water activated. NexGen Lawns carries Mapei Ultrabond Landscape Turf CG glue in 1-gallon buckets. Perfect for use at both residential and commercial artificial grass installations with excellent all-weather resistance.
Mapei Ultrabond Landscaping Turf CG glue is a single-stage turf glue that is ready to use straight out of the bucket. Simply pour it out onto the turf seam tape and use the provided trowel that comes with the glue to spread it out. Once the glue has been troweled out on the seam tape, lay your 2 pieces of artificial turf onto the tape that you are seaming, apply pressure, and allow to dry. It is that simple! After the installation, remember to protect the area from heavy traffic for at least 24 hours and rain and foot exposure for 12 hours.
