- Close the shape by clicking on the starting point and you will see the total square feet and the total perimeter length in linear feet for the selected area.
- When all of the areas are selected that you want to cover in artificial turf click on the Calculate Material Costs
button to get an estimate for the cost of the materials and the installation cost to cover your selected area in artificial turf.

This tool will provide you with an estimate on all the materials needed to install your synthetic grass. You’ll see a list of items needed to complete your synthetic grass installation. It is designed to help take the guesswork out of all the needed materials and costs.

The materials calculator is going to use the area that you measured or entered and will not calculate any additional turf material you may need for your project. Some things to take into consideration to know exactly how much artificial grass you will need.
- Most areas are not a perfect square or rectangle. Typically, you will need more artificial turf than the actual square footage of your area to cover the desired space. This helps make sure you have enough artificial grass to cover your area when cutting in around edging, patios and fences.
- When laying the synthetic turf, all pieces must lay going the same direction or your project will not look right, and you will see the different pieces.
- Our artificial grass comes in 15-foot-wide rolls.
- The simplest way to figure out how much total turf you will need is to measure the longest distance each 15’ wide piece of artificial turf will be covering. Then add all your pieces together to get the final amount needed.
