NexGen Lawns offers a 20 mesh silica sand infill for artificial grass that comes rounded to help eliminate sharp points and uneven edges that could damage the artificial blades.  The rounded silica sand infill goes on top of synthetic grass to help each individual grass blade stand up.  In addition, it weighs the synthetic grass down to securely hold down the artificial turf.  The 20 mesh silica sand is made up of quartz so it will not absorb moisture like play sand or common sand, thus helping to protect against mold, mildew and odors.  It is light in color helping to reduce heat in the synthetic turf and keep the fibers cooler.  As well as helping to protect from harmful UV rays that can damage the artificial turf.

Silica sand infill for artificial grass allows for use in multiple areas as a safe and effective infill from lawns, patios, pool surrounds, and even dog runs.  We recommend using 1 to 2 lbs of rounded silica sand per square foot as an infill.  Additionally, we offer a smaller grain of 30 mesh rounded silica sand infill, we recommend for putting greens and golf courses.
